Tap your bracelet
Hold it to your phone
Touch the bracelet against any NFC phone and the page opens straight in your browser, the same way tapping a card pays for coffee.
A chip stitched into the bracelet. Hold your phone against it and Scripture opens, in about a second. No app, no charging, no account.
R100 each. Free delivery on 10 or more, anywhere in South Africa.
$15 each. Free shipping on 10 or more, anywhere in the US.
Press to see a verse, the same way tapping the real bracelet with your phone does.
Midnight — press the bracelet to try a tap
How it works
The chip is sewn into the bracelet itself, so there is nothing to charge and nothing to switch on.
Tap your bracelet
Touch the bracelet against any NFC phone and the page opens straight in your browser, the same way tapping a card pays for coffee.
A verse finds you
A short line pulled from the library at random, long enough to sit with, short enough to actually read before you put your phone away.
Keep what matters
Make a free account and every verse you have received stays there, so you can look back whenever you need to.
The bracelets
Same weave, same chip, same verse library. Pick the one you will actually want to wear every day.
Loading the designs.
The experience
The tap page is the same one your bracelet opens. Press the ring and a verse comes up, drawn at random from the library. What is below is today's verse specifically, the same one everyone gets if they land here today.
Today
Verse of the day
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
Psalm 119:105
Out in the world
Real photos of real people wearing theirs, not product shots. We haven't built the wall yet because we'd rather it start with actual submissions than stock-feeling filler.
Not sure which one
Answer three quick questions and we will tell you which one you will actually reach for.
The one in five
For every five bracelets sold, one is donated to a church or youth group that could not otherwise afford them. No add-on at checkout, no rounding up your total, nothing to opt into — it comes out of what we make, on every order, whether you know about it or not.
The first hundred is the goal for this year.
Community
The first stories are still coming in. If you wear one, we would rather show your words than write our own.
A sentence or two is plenty. We read every one, and we ask before we publish anything.
Questions
If yours is not here, send it to us. We answer every message ourselves, usually the same day.
If your phone can tap to pay, it can read a Tappd. That covers iPhone 7 and newer, and nearly every Android from 2015 onward. On some Android phones NFC has to be switched on once in Settings, after that it stays on.
No. The chip holds a web address, so your phone opens it in the browser you already use. An account is optional and only exists so you can keep your tap history.
Never. The chip has no battery. It draws the tiny amount of power it needs from your phone during the tap, and it will outlast the band it is stitched into.
Two options: collect from any Pudo locker for R70, or have it delivered to your door for R110. Both are free on orders of 10 bracelets or more.
US orders ship from our stock inside the United States with USPS: $5 for Ground Advantage (3 to 7 business days) or $10 for Priority Mail (1 to 3 business days). Both are free on orders of 10 bracelets or more, and every parcel is tracked.
Yes, and it is a big part of what we do. Twenty-five bracelets are R75 each, fifty drop to R70, and a hundred or more comes down to R65, all with free delivery. From fifty upward we can also load a custom verse set for your congregation or camp. Message us and we will put it together.
Yes, and it is a big part of what we do. From twenty-five bracelets they are $12 each with free shipping anywhere in the US. From fifty upward we can also load a custom verse set for your congregation or camp, and for a hundred or more, message us and we will put a quote together.
It can take a splash, a bit of rain, washing your hands, but we would not go swimming or shower in it deliberately. Treat it the way you would a nice watch: fine with daily life, not built to be submerged.
